Directions to Legion Stadium

I-40 East (coming from Raleigh area, etc)

Continue on I-40 East into Wilmington. Turn right on MLK Parkway heading towards downtown Wilmington.  Follow MLK for approximately 5 miles when MLK Parkway turns into 3rd Street. Continue on 3rd street for approximately 4 miles when you make a slight left turn onto Carolina Beach Road. Follow Carolina Beach Road approximately 1 mile and Legion Stadium will be on your left-hand side of the road. 

Hwy 74/76 (coming from I-95)

Exit I-95 at Lumberton. It will take approximately 1 hour to reach the Wilmington area from this exit.  Hwy. 74 and 76 will merge and become one.  Follow it through the Leland area and toward the Cape Fear River – Wilmington area.  Before crossing the river, use the left hand exit (Towards Carolina Beach), going over the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge. Turn right at 3rd Street and continue for approximately 1 mile. You will make a slight left turn onto Carolina Beach Road. Follow Carolina Beach Road approximately 1 mile and Legion Stadium will be on your left-hand side of the road. 

From the East (Jacksonville)

Take Highway 17 South exiting onto John Jay Burney Jr Freeway (I-140) in Porters Neck. Continue on I-140 for approximately 10 miles exiting onto Highway 421 south towards Wilmington. Continue for approximately 5 miles passing Battleship North Carolina and exiting onto 17/76 towards Carolina Beach. You will cross the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge. Turn right at 3rd Street and continue for approximately 1 mile. You will make a slight left turn onto Carolina Beach Road. Follow Carolina Beach Road approximately 1 mile and Legion Stadium will be on your left-hand side of the road. 

From the Wilmington/Downtown Campus

Begin by traveling South on Front Street.  Once you reach Walnut Street, take a left. Proceed two blocks and turn right onto 3rd Street. Follow 3rd street until you make a slight left turn onto Carolina Beach Road. Follow Carolina Beach Road approximately 1 mile and Legion Stadium will be on your left hand side of the road.
