Walterboro, SC - Cape Fear men's basketball lost a close game to conference opponent USC Salkehatchie, 76-74.
Kwe Parker led the Sea Devils with 18 points, while Zaqwaun Matthews added 16.
"We just [have to get] tougher," said head coach Ryan Mantlo. "Winning on the road takes some unity and toughness and we are really lacking in these areas right now."
Cape Fear falls to 15-8 on the season and 3-3 in conference play. The loss drops them to 5th in Region 10, but they remain half a game back of 2nd place.
Their next game is scheduled for Saturday, February 10th, where they will host 2nd place Caldwell Community College at 3:00 p.m. as part of Military Appreciation day.
