Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear won their first home game of the season, defeating Wake Tech Community College, 89-69.
Despite the final score, head coach Ryan Mantlo felt his team could've played better.
"You will always take the win, however I felt like we took a step back tonight," said Mantlo. "We have to become more consistent with what we can control to make a run at this title."
Sophomore forward Zaqwaun Matthews lead with 21 points, while freshman Donte Tatum finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Kwe Parker added 10 points.
The Sea Devils improve to 6-5 on the season.
They play next on Friday, December 8th, where they will take on Johnston Community College on the road at 8:00 p.m.
