Louisburg, NC - Alexis Redd put in a game-high 20 points as the Cape Fear Community College women's basketball team picked up a season sweep over Louisburg College with a 74-71 win on Sunday.
Shakerya Morrison added 14 points and seven rebounds for the Lady Sea Devils, who moved 5-7 in conference and 13-7 overall. Porsha Buchanan and Kristina Rumplasch also finished in double digits with 10 points apiece.
Cape Fear looks to avenge an early season loss to Brunswick Community College on Wednesday, Feb. 12 as the Sea Devils entertain the Lady Dolphins in their annual Pink Out game at the Schwartz Center to help bring awareness to cancer research.
