Martinsville, Virginia - The Cape Fear men's soccer team lost 1-8 on the road against Patrick Henry Community College.
Cape Fear's lone goal was scored by Alfredo Martinez.
"Poor performance on our behalf," said head coach C.W. Ponton after the game. "[I'm] hoping our guys buckle down and bounce back from this quickly."
With the loss, the Sea Devils move to 2-5 on the season.
Their next game is Saturday, September 24th, as they take on Louisburg College on the road at 2:00 p.m.
