Wilmington, NC - Former New Hanover High School product Franco Fernandez notched his first college goal as the Cape Fear Community College defeated Union County Community College 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.
The Sea Devils outshot Union 15-5 to improve to 1-0 overall. Connor Belk made four saves in the result. Cape Fear travels to La Plata, Maryland for their next match against College of Southern Maryland on Saturday, August 29.
