Rock Hill, SC - Clinton Junior College used a last second tip-in to hold off Cape Fear 87-86 on Saturday in South Carolina. The loss snaps a season-long five-game winning streak for the Sea Devils.
"We really let one slip away today," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "Hopefully we learn from this and turn this into a positive heading into our next game and down the stretch."
Anthony Vanhook dropped 30 points to lead the Cape Fear attack, while Osandai Vaughn put in 21.
The Sea Devils fell to 2-2 and 12-11 with the setback. CFCC gets back on the floor Monday at Denmark Tech.
